“Rainis and Aspazija” (RunA) are historic Latvian poets and public figures. Latvian National Library of Latvia has an initiative on development of a digital collection to showcase the diversity of the heritage left by both poets. It offers a new opportunity for the first time in Latvia to display the rich collections of private and memorial organizations on the internet in the form of interlinked information.

Staris lead the digital collection site design development for company ABC Software. Digital collection site was created in collaboration with designer Kaspars Jursons. The target audience of this site are the digital humanities science researchers and students, as well as literature and history enthusiasts.

Functional design of the site was made to satisfy professional purposes of site use. Site design is based on a deep understanding of customer requirements and research of the most successful international digital collections with similar functionality, while also implementing the LNB digital communication style and global web trends in the site design.
