INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE

The living legacy of knowledge, skills, traditions and practices

REGISTER

Intangible cultural heritage is the living legacy of knowledge, skills, traditions and practices, which were passed on from generation to generation and are used today. The digital intangible culture register includes Latvian intangible cultural heritage elements. The Latvian list was developed in accordance with the UNESCO convention on the preservation of intangible culture.

Staris in collaboration with designer Kaspars Jursons developed an intangible culture heritage register design. The public part of the register was designed for a wide range of audiences, while the authorized user part includes profile creation, publishing of new entries, photo, video and audio material upload and submission.
